Selected by Superintendent Beth Bender and Assistant Superintendent Matthew Strine, art works by elementary artist Elke Staver and by high school artist Jack Yeager were each awarded the district's Super Award (see artwork above). Instituted by former Superintendent Kristin Carroll, each year the Superintendent's office selects two excellent student art works for purchase and permanent display at the district office.
The Shippensburg Arts Programming and Education (S.H.A.P.E.) organization recognized six ribbon winners from district schools. Camryn Richardson, Laurel Knight, Kailah Stutzman, and Shuel Beltre were awarded Elementary Level ribbons. Georgia Warren (artwork not pictured) was awarded the Middle School Level ribbon, and Kim Pioquinto received the High School Award.
The award is selected by a S.H.A.P.E. representative from artwork on display at the district's annual Artrageous exhibition.
