Chris Martin
Chris Martin has been an art teacher since 1997 and an instructor at the high school since 1998. He received an M.Ed in Educational Strategies from Wilkes University, a B.S. in Art Education from Indiana University of Pennsylvania, and a B.F.A. in Drawing from Edinboro University of Pennsylvania. In addition to his art classes, Mr. Martin is a member of the Greyhound Foundation's Board of Trustees and Arts Committee, is co-advisor to the National Art Honor Society, and is the advisor of the Social Activism Club. In 2012, he was nominated for the WGAL/Rotary Teacher Impact Award which honors excellence among Susquehanna Valley educators. Mr. Martin came to the district in 1997.
Outside of school, Mr. Martin is a freelance graphic designer and artist, works in set design for amateur productions, and conducts camps and workshops in set design and children’s art.
