A.P. ART HISTORY ENRICHMENT
With Mr. Martin

Hello, A.P. Art History students! We certainly live in interesting times. Please know that I'm thinking of you and that I would much rather be doing this face-to-face, but it is most important for everyone's health and safety that we follow the Governor's lead, his orders, and his suggestions. I want to get back to school as quickly as possible, so please make sure you are doing your part to make that happen by following the social distancing guidelines that our health officials recommend. I hope we'll all be together again for our conversations very soon.

UPDATE AS OF 3/30/20: Marking period 3 will end on 4/7/20. No work done since regular school sessions ended will be added to your grade; however, you must finish updating your National History Day website or film by that time. We are awaiting guidance on how courses will be graded during MP 4.

MP 4 begins on 4/14/20.

How will A.P. Art History Enrichment work?
We will continue with our reading and viewing assignments posted in Google Classroom as we have, and we will supplement that with Zoom meetings. I cannot grade you or compel you to do the work or join us for the meetings, but I hope you will. I'll try to make them interesting discussions and relevant to the coursework just as they normally would be. I look at it as an opportunity to learn together with no grading pressure.

When will enrichment start?
It will officially start on Monday, March 30. Unofficially, it started with having you update your National History Day projects for our first video meeting.

When is our first meeting?
I would like to know when is the best time for all of you? I can do anytime from 8AM to 11AM and 1PM to 3:00PM.  I would like, if possible, to talk twice a week. Wednesday and Thursday, maybe. I'll need feedback from you on that. Please tell me what works for you in an email to chris.martin@ship.k12.pa.us and include AP ART HISTORY MEETING in your subject line or in a response to my Remind.
What about Marking Period 3 Grades?
Well, that's a great question and we still don't have answers for you (or me) about that. Currently, your grades are up-to-date with what I have for you. If they aren't yet in Skyward, they will be soon. I don't know how marking period 3 will be resolved, but as soon as I do, I will let you know.
